Veteran Disability Claims Discovery Projects – Journey Map & Service Blueprint

Research project to understand the VA disability claims process from the Veteran’s perspective. Artifacts included a journey map highlighting bright spots and pain points, an insights report elevating the voice of the Veteran, and a service blueprint outlining all backstage and front-stage steps in the process.
Leadership Experience Workshop – Root Cause Analysis & Breaking Down Silos

I co-designed a workshop with leaders and teams to understand root causes of pain points in the leadership development experience. Exercises were designed to promote cross-team collaboration and break down silos.

I led a broad-scale curriculum mapping and audience analysis project, leveraging principles of instructional design and methodology from human-centered design. This effort resulted in learner profiles which have been deployed to inform strategic curriculum development.

My dissertation focused on improving eLearning project intake, to include a literature review of the intersection of instructional design, front-end analysis, and project management. The research is grounded in the ISPI Human Performance Technology model.

I led the discovery research to determine Veteran employees’ needs. The resulting intervention was a community of practice which provides a safe space for sharing benefits, challenges and innovative ideas.
